strong. It's only temporary. I literally walked through the valley of
death. I thought that was it for me, that I was done. I felt like heavy
mud, just form without the Holy Spirit. I felt that I must have done
something terribly wrong. But then I started to think that a big mistake
must have been made, as I had done nothing to be going through that. As
soon as I had that thought, I was out of that place. In fact I was
angry that I was there because I knew I had never done anything
deserving that. I tried to recall everything I had ever done in my life
and though I knew I had done stupid things, I had never done anything
irrevocably bad or beyond redemption. I dumped grapes on my friend's
stairs once when I was 7 because I was upset with her, but then I risked
my life to save her twin sister when she slipped off the edge of a
cliff. So, there was nothing I had ever done that was so bad that hadn't
eventually been cancelled out by something good. I weighed the good and
the bad I had done in my life and I knew there were a lot more good
things than bad things, and the quality of the good was greater than was
the level of the bad. And as I thought these thoughts, I started to
emerge out of that place and felt a light come on me, and I felt alive
again and felt that I had been preserved. It's a personal process. Hang
in there.

It's
hard to fear anything once you've literally gone through your own
"Judgment Day". Because there is nothing worse than that! Especially
when the test hits you sideways when you were least expecting it. I felt
that I had been abandoned by the entire world, even the Holy Spirit,
left alone, just me the physical body to prove myself. It was a terrible
feeling. I think I cried for three nights straight. Never in my life
have I felt that kind of anguish. I thought it was never going to stop,
that I would go through the rest of this thing called life like that,
literally a living dead being walking around. The entire world and
everything in it had abandoned me. Never did I think I would make it
through. Never did I think I would see the light again. Never did I
think this body would feel life again. I wondered if god truly hated me
and how could than be as I had always loved God. And the sky opened up
and was watching me and terror and anxiety took over me. I thought it so
cruel that I was living though I was dead, dead through life, it would
have been better off that I had entirely disappeared. So many things
were going through me it's hard to describe in detail. Yet here I am. So
have hope & faith --- though we might think God has forgotten us,
God is always with us. God watches us and protects like like a mother
hen protects her brood.
Without
God, life is a terrible void. A monstrosity. Endless pain. Like a
newborn torn way from its mother. Deprived of nurture and nourishment,
of protection and love, of warmth and affection. Without God, it it
better not to exist at all.

God sent Jesus Christ for our sin, to insinuate that any of us are going
through this because of sin, is to say God is judging us now and

beings that are not able to find their own moral compass when they need

years of my life. My main drugs of choice were opiates and IV crystal
meth... I always assumed that what was happening to me was a normal side
effect of meth amphetamine. The Lord Jesus Christ, The Son of God, had
compassion on my soul and completely delivered me of my addiction during
this trial. He delivered me of all of my desire and intense lust for
drugs and alcohol that had taken so much of my life. He has blessed me
with almost 3 years clean and sober from drugs and alcohol. I’m
currently going through this every day and God gives me the grace to
handle this situation every single day of my life. He is sovereign and
He knows everything that we are going through. He has immensely helped
me during this trial and He is faithful. He may permit it to go on but
He has a reason and a purpose for allowing things that we don’t have the
knowledge or understanding , for all the secret things belong to The
Lord. Please enter into relationship with Him right now by trusting His
Son Jesus Christ for your eternal salvation. If you are not saved please
know that all have sinned and come short of the glory of God. We are
all guilty before God and have all transgressed and offended God
Almighty in our words, thoughts, actions, and by breaking His Law. We
deserve His punishment, which is His divine wrath. A penalty must be
paid for His broken Law like in a court room. God sent His only begotten
